The problem

Users upload their move details (old and new addresses, move date, household size), and the AI agent takes over: scraping and auto-filling utility company forms, scheduling service transfers, updating addresses across banks, subscriptions, and IDs, comparing mover quotes, providing school and neighborhood info, and following up on confirmations. All through a simple chat interface. MoveGenius bridges fragmented systems and automates the bureaucracy, so users can focus on their lives—not logistics. For a small fee (or bundled with realtors/property managers), users get time, money, and sanity back—plus a dashboard for tracking every step, with proactive alerts and real human-in-the-loop checks for sensitive tasks.

Architecture

The user provides move details and documents (Inputs). The Ingestion layer parses PDFs, emails, and chat input using OCR and NLU. Parsed entities pass to the Memory/Graph layer, where a dynamic checklist tracks all move requirements and dependencies. The Agent Orchestrator decomposes the move into subtasks—utility setup, address changes, service scheduling—and coordinates specialized subagents for each (integrating with external APIs and forms). At each critical step, actions requiring sensitive data or confirmation pass through the Human Gate for user review/approval. Completed actions execute in the Action Layer via web, email, or API calls, with proactive error checks.

Build plan (90 days)

Wedge: Target renters moving within the top 10 U.S. metro areas, where utility and service APIs are most accessible. Launch as a white-labeled agent for property managers/realtors to offer as a move-in incentive, bundled with moving quotes and utility setup. Stack: Expand to homebuyers, then cross-state moves, integrating DMV, school registration, and pet licensing. Add brokerage and HR relocation partnerships.
